The joy of our children and teens knew no bounds as over 400 of them from Afaha Ube District in South Central Area of Nigeria gathered together from Friday 4th through Sunday 6th June 2021 for this year's Children's Week.

The event was not only fun-filled but very inspiring, educative, informative, entertaining and glorious as the children displayed and exhibited various talents to the admiration of their parents/guardians and others.

The program tagged ”KINGDOM HEIRS" was very impactful as it had goodwill messages and support from our beloved Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong and Bishop Ime Udombang.

The host, District Elder Armstrong Inyang who declared the event opened on Friday afternoon exhorted them with a word from Mark 10: 13 – 14 “Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let little children come to me, and do not forbid them: for of such is the kingdom of God”.

District Elder Inyang described children as "Kingdom heirs and God's heritage " who must be highly treasured and valued.
He charged all to contribute positively to all round development our children insisting that the church must compliment the role of parents and caregivers.

He reminded all of the importance Christ attached to children hence comparing their conduct as befits the kingdom of God.

The District Elder also urged the children and teens to obey, honour and reverence God, their parents, teachers, leaders and elders reminding them that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
