1 February 2021

The joy of our brethren in the Republic of Gabon knew no bounds with the reopening of worship centers in the country which had been on locked down, occasioned by the ravaging global pandemic as Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu paid a pastoral and apostolic care visit, two months after the reopening.

Lead Apostle Nwogu who was received on arrival by the host, Apostle Felicien Ebanga Edoa was overwhelmed with joy as it was possible for him to strengthen and encourage them.

The highpoint of the visit which spanned from 14th through 20th of January 2021 was the dedication of a chapel for Angondje Congregation on Sunday 17th.

This was preceded by a meeting for District Ministers on Saturday 16th, in the morning and divine service for ministers in the evening. The dedication service, with 215 in attendance had some guests from the capital, Libreville and nearby congregation.

The Lead Apostle expressed deep thankfulness to God for his love and sincere appreciation to all for their labour of love, dedication and perseverance. He described the project, as a fruit of several years   of combined efforts by the Apostles, brethren, local and international administration.

The Lead Apostle addressed the congregation with a text word from Psalms 93:5 "Your testimonies are very sure: Holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever".

He urged all to always reverence God in words and deeds insisting that the place is dedicated to the worship of God where His testimonies are revealed.

According to him these testimonies are the eternal messages of salvation proclaimed in a pure and unadulterated manner through the apostolate.

Lead Apostle further said genuine supplications and petitions here received answers while grace for longing souls are guaranteed.

He cautioned that it is a house of prayer and not a den of thieves as 'holiness adorns God's house.

He concluded that through the ministry of grace and reconciliation, holy sacraments are dispensed here for believing souls longing for salvation.

Apostle Felicien Ebanga and District Elder Alain Leghanza also served along. After the festive divine service, the Lead Apostle inspected a recreational garden owned by the congregation.

Indeed, the brethren were strengthened by the visit and it has brought tremendous blessings to the Central African Country.
