Chief Apostle at the Alter in the church of Karlsruhe
12 January 2021

It was a great Joy across many congregations in Nigeria, to have witnessed the second Sunday of the new year in a festive divine service conducted by Chief Apostle in Karlsruhe, Southern Germany on Sunday, 10th January 2021.

The message of hope, Joy, grace and peace from our savior Jesus Christ through His servant had it basis in a text word from: Matthew 7:28-29 “_And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes”.

The Chief Apostle commenced the divine service with special new year wishes and greetings to brothers and sisters who participated in the divine service.
He encouraged everyone to sustain hope in Christ for the future and have a positive sight of the future, by following the examples of Jesus, keeping all our failed plans, successful plans, disappointments, Joy and sorrow and various situations of life in God’s hands. He will make everything perfect.

He added that we should expect Christ every day of our lives and prepare for His return.

*The teachings and authority of Christ. *

The bible text explains how Jesus’ teaching authority differs from that of the scribes.
In the teaching of Christ, He always explained the love of God to all Mankind.
We cannot measure the love of God with reference to our circumstances of life rather with the salvation God Has given to us.
Jesus Christ created a new orientation and value system in the scribes and the people around Him.

He told them He didn’t come to abolish the commandment rather to fulfill it.
He pointed out the most important part of the commandment, which is to Love God above all things and love our neighbor as ourselves.
He explained that heaven and earth will pass away, but the word of God will remain forever.

Jesus taught the people about the plan of God, the power and authority His Father Has bestowed on Him. He performed miracles through the authority given to Him by God.
He is compassionate and Has the authority to forgive sins. He Has authority to build His Church.

The followers of Christ were astonished, overwhelmed, and impressed by the sound teachings of Christ.
Whoever believes in Jesus Christ will have eternal life.
Our Lord Jesus Christ Has received power and authority through His resurrection.

He will be with His church when He shall return to take home His bride.

Christ Has given part of His authority to His Apostles today, to complete the work of God and prepare His bride for His return.

Jesus Christ as human on earth was unique.  He had intimate connection with God.
He had unlimited trust in Him. He called Him Abba father, in expression of His closeness.

Let us believe in the authority of Jesus Christ, trust Him, believe His sermon and follow His doctrine.
Look unto Jesus. He Has power through His sacraments, His grace and His words.

Be an example to others, by becoming the image of Christ and growing in it.
He loves us and will grant us eternal life.
