Sister Urom with her newly sealed daughter
26 November 2020

Our brethren in Ikot Akpakpan congregation of Afaha Essang District experienced a blessed and joyful moments on Thursday, 12th November 2020 as Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu visited the South West Area of Nigeria cared for by Apostle Enobong Udoh.

The Lead Apostle who arrived to a rousing reception expressed great pleasure that God has permitted the warm fellowship in the midst of ravaging global covid-19 pandemic.

He encouraged all to always adhere strictly to all acceptable guidelines and protocols even as true security from God brings inner peace.

He exhorted them with a word from 1John 3: 1 "Behold what manner of love the Father had bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him"

Speaking, the Lead Apostle echoed that our election and calling is of the Lord, who, out of His infinite love and grace has bestowed on us our Son ship in God.

He expressed further that through our election we have become the first fruits of His creation and insisted that we should not take this unmerited favour for granted.

Lead Apostle Nwogu therefore charged all to take their election seriously by:
* Believing in God.
* Accessing His eternal messages of salvation through the apostolate.
* Fighting for the oneness of the children of God.
* Remaining in the first love.
* Offering of sacrifices of our time, talents and resources.
* Fighting sin and evil; and
* worthy partaking of the Holy communion.

He affirmed that partaking worthily of the body and blood of Jesus Christ will ignites the fire of the holy spirit in us.

He regretted that most children of God have ran out of the oil of patience, love and faithfulness, pleading with them to retrace their steps.

Concluding that we should move forward and upwards through the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, prayers and breaking of bread and wine assuring that on the Lord's day we will be clothed with the glory of the Father. Indeed "what manner of love" he reaffirmed.

Apostle Enobong Udoh and Bishop Augustine Urom served along with 190 members and guests in attendance.
