On the 9th of January 2020, Apostle Samuel Peter Usoro of South East – Nigeria, Ikot Ekpene area in Akwa Ibom State, served the children of God in Odoroko Ikep District.
He based the sermon on the text word from 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love”.
The Apostle in his message told the brethren that faith, hope and love are indispensable for our salvation. We believe that God is love and trust in Him. Such faith generates hope and love. We are patiently waiting for salvation and are actively preparing ourselves for it. We reciprocate the love of God by following the example of Jesus and exercising love as He did.
He said: “To believe, means to be convinced of something which one can neither see, nor understand, nor envisage. As children of God we need to believe that God is love; He created man to share perfect fellowship with Him, He sent His Son into the world. Out of love for us, He has sacrificed His life in order to lead us into fellowship with God.”
“God testified of His love by instituting the church and by sending His Apostles to dispense the sacraments. The love of God will triumph, and then mankind will be able to have eternal fellowship with God in the new creation”, Apostle Usoro concluded.
In this divine service 20 souls were sealed.
