29 November 2019

The South South Working area of Apostle Paul Ogboru received District Apostle Michael Ehrich with lots of joy on Friday 22nd   November in Rukpakwulusi congregation in Port Harcourt, and also Thursday 21st November in the Beria district.

Accompanied by the Lead Apostle Nwogu, Apostles Ogboru, Odili and Bishop Banuna at Rukpakwulusi congregation in Port Harcourt District, the District Apostle read a text word from John 10:27, “ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me”.

In his message the District Apostle said: “Only Jesus' sheep (followers) hear His voice (teachings)!” He went on to ask the brethren: “Are you a sheep of Jesus Christ? Do you hear (obey) His voice (teachings/warnings)?” He continued by telling them that Jesus' sheep follow Him unconditionally and lovingly! His sheep follow not any other voices (teachings).

To hear and follow Jesus' voice means to align our lives in accordance with His teachings. His voice (teachings) is always available to us when we pray, taking decisions, and in divine services, fellowship with brethren, and breaking of bread. We can also hear His voice in times of trials, pains, sufferings and persecutions.

In this divine service, 200 brethren were in attendance, Lead Apostle Nwogu Geoffrey and District Elder Paul Onobredjor were called to assist.

At Biara district where the District Apostle conducted a divine service on Thursday 22nd November, he read a text word from Psalm 104:1,14: ‘Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and vegetation for the service of man, that he may bring forth food from the earth’

840 brethren were in attendance in this service. Lead Apostle Nwogu assisted the service.
