Four Towns, Uyo congregation, the zonal headquarters of South Central Area of Nigeria was one of the richest congregations on Sunday 14th July, 2019 as Apostle Godday Odilli of South Area, conducted a divine service accompanied by four Apostles, one Bishop and a District Evangelist. Also in attendance were all the district leaders, Youth leaders from the area and youth from the surrounding districts. This followed a facts finding mission pertaining to the National Youth Convention 2020 on the 12th and 13th July where he led the visiting entourage as chairman of the organizing and planning committee to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Apostle Odilli, who officiated at the service read a text from Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”
He charged the excited congregation to reorder their priorities as most people don't really know their need. He insisted that one thing is needful, which is the word of God; that leads to salvation and this word encompasses love, patience, faith, reconciliation and tolerance. He further said, when we are rich in these attributes we can live a godly live in the midst of wicked and crooked people.
He also stressed that God knows exactly our needs and He supplies us according to our measure of grace. He cautioned that we should not serve God with reserve energy, reminding all that godliness with contentment is a great gain.
He concluded that when we have the grace of God we will be rich in knowledge, wisdom and understanding thereby being able to differentiate between needs and wants.
Called to serve were Apostles Ernest Onukwe, Oscar Nwanza, Effiong Ekpenyong and Bishop Ime Udombang. They were 558 members and guests in attendance. It was an unforgettable experience.
