Chief Apostle with the translator at the altar in Goslar, Germany
28 June 2019

On Sunday, 9th June 2019, by 9AM, New Apostolic families and friends from all walks of life within Southern Nigeria joyfully participated in the live transmission service of the festive Pentecost divine service. The service, officiated by Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, was broadcasted from Goslar in Germany.

The Chief Apostle drew his text from 1 Corinthians 12:13, ‘For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body whether – Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free – and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.’ A special text was read from Acts 2:36-43.

In his exhortation, the Chief Apostle said believers can recognize the activities of the Holy Spirit in His works, activities of the Son of God and His apostles, the strengthening of our faith, our love for God and our neighbours as well as our willingness to be reconciled.

He further said that through the activities of the Holy Spirit, we allow ourselves to be prepared for the return of Christ and therefore live a life modelled after Jesus.

The Chief Apostle concluded on a very cheering note declaring that we are his joy. He expressed his gratefulness for all our prayers, labour of love and sacrifices despite the difficulties many are going through. More so, he was very thankful to God for the Holy Spirit who works in the congregation through the apostolate.
