Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu and Apostle Samuel Usoro with District ministers from South East Area

Our brethren in southern Nigeria enjoyed a 5-day pastoral care visit by Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu from Thursday 2nd May to Monday 6th may, 2019. The trip took him to the three working areas cared for by Apostles Enobong Udoh (South West), Samuel Usoro (South East) and Effiong Ekpenyong (South Central).

On Friday, 3rd May 2019, the Lead Apostle held a meeting with 28 district ministers from the of South West area at Nto Obo, Abak; to discuss and elaborate on the 3 phases of God’s salvation plan. Assisting him were Apostle Enobong Udoh and Bishop Augustine Urom.

By 3PM the same day, the Lead Apostle conducted a divine service at Abak Town congregation with 56 souls in attendance. He drew a text from 1 Corinthians 15:58.

The Lead Apostle pleaded with brethren to be steadfast and immovable in love, faith, hope and trust while doing good works. Apostle Enobong Udoh and Bishop Augustine Urom assisted at the altar. Prior to the divine service, the Lead Apostle and his entourage paid a pastoral visit to the family of late Apostle Augustine Namse at Afaha Essang, Abak.

In the morning of Saturday 4th May, the Lead Apostle together with Apostle Samuel Usoro met 16 District ministers of South East area at Ikot Abia Idem, Ikot Ekpene for a meeting.

By 2 PM, Lead Apostle Nwogu arrived Ikot Idem Udo congregation to a joyous gathering of 148 members and guests. There, he led a divine service based on the bible text Revelation 3:11. He urged all to hold fast our love for God and neighbours, our faith, hope in the return of Christ, fight against sin, egoism and unbelief. He assured all of a crown of righteousness for overcomers. The Lead Apostle retired a priest as part of the service.

The last area visited was South Central cared for by Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong. Here, Lead Apostle Nwogu celebrated a festive divine service in love and joy with 285 brethren gathered at Ikot Enua. Sharing his thoughts on the text word from 1 Corinthians 15:57, he urged the congregation to always be thankful to God who grants us victory over sin, unbelief, doubt, fear and evil through the merit of His Son.

By 1pm, the Lead Apostle and his entourage were joyfully received at Mbierebe Obio by 164 members and guests. He exhorted all in a divine service with a text from Hebrews 10:23, not to waiver in our love, faith, patience and joy. He further assured all that God is faithful and His Son will return to take us with Him in the first resurrection.
