The last leg of Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu’s visit to Southern Nigeria took him to the South West Area cared for by Apostle Enobong Udoh.
By 10:00am on Saturday 20th October 2018, Lead Apostle Nwogu had arrived at Taakwa in Okwale District to a rousing reception. He exhorted them with a word from 2 Chronicles 15:7, ‘But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!’.
There, the Lead Apostle explained that we can be strengthened through intensive prayers, fellowship, words and renunciation of sin.
Apostle Enobong Udoh and Bishop Augustine Urom were called to assist. Two hundred and one (201) souls were in attendance as three (3) Shepherds and four (4) Community Evangelists were ordained.
By 1:00pm, the Lead Apostle was in the Idyburu District at the Luawii congregation for another divine service.
The Lead Apostle charged brethren to endeavour to uphold their election and redemption as he exhorted them from 2 Thessalonians 2:13, ‘For we are bound to give thanks to God always for you brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.’
There was an attendance of 188 as Apostle Enobong Udoh and the host District Leader were called to serve.
The last day of his visit took him to Edem Anwa in Afaha Essang District on Sunday 21st October, 2018.
At 10:00am, Lead Apostle Nwogu served the gathering with a word from 1 Peter 5:6, ‘Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time’.
In his words, the Lead Apostle reminded the congregants that only the humble will be exalted. He further said that only God’s hand elevates, leads, protects and strengthens.
Ending his sermon, he added that those who are humble allow themselves to be completed, perfected and glorified on the last day. Apostle Enobong Udoh was called to assist with 194 souls in attendance.
By 1:00pm the same day, the Lead Apostle conducted his last divine service at Ikot Udo Urom in Nto-otong District.
He read a text from Revelation 3:21, ‘To him who overcomes, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne …’
Lead Apostle Nwogu urged all to battle for their salvation, fight against sin and fight for the salvation of our neighbour.
Apostle Enobong Udoh and District Elder Armstrong Inyang assisted the Lead Apostle with 118 souls in attendance to celebrate the occasion.
