Apostle Hagher at the altar during the youth divine service

From the 24th to 26th of August, all the youth in West Nigeria gathered at the Crown Polytechnic Ado Ekiti for the 2018 youth convention. Fifteen (15) districts which comprises the West Area led by Apostle E. Hagher were all in attendance to grace this yearly event.

The program started at exactly 7 pm on Friday 24th, with registration and accreditation for better identification and monitoring of participants. At exactly 8:30 pm, the opening prayer was said, and the youth began to engage themselves with activities ranging from quiz, dramas, singing, talent shows, workshop, seminars, sporting activities till the next day with just a little time to rest in the night.

The activities ended in the night of Saturday 25th, around 9pm, with the presentation of cups, medals and certificates to the best teams and individuals who performed well in their various fields.

On Sunday, 26th August, the youth celebrated Divine service with Apostle Hagher. The text word was taken from the book of Deuteronomy 4:29 “From there you seek the Lord your God…”

In his message the Apostle asked the youth to serve God with all their hearts and faithfully follow their bearer of blessing. He further went on to say, “God answers the questions we ask Him according to His will and time”. He also advised the youth not to doubt God in His ways. In his conclusion, the Apostle encouraged the youth to reflect on his final remarks, “The Lord will come when no one expects, will you be ready where He finds you?”

Apostle Hagher was assisted by Bishop Adelabu, District Evangelist Richard Tetete, District Elder Adenekan and the host, District Elder Ikulayo. There were 572 souls in attendance.
