District Apostle Michael Ehrich of South Germany paid a 4-day visit to Nigeria from Thursday 7th to 10th December, 2017.
His first port of call on arrival was Aba, Abia State, Mid-East area cared for by Apostle Chima Ibekwe. He conducted a festive divine service at Aba central congregation with 1365 members and guests in attendance.
Text-word was from Galatians 6:4 “Examine your work”. Seven district ministers went into retirement while 15 new District Ministers were ordained.
From Aba, the District Apostle arrived at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State to a rousing welcome. All the Apostles, Bishops and other District Ministers from the three working areas of Akwa Ibom State were waiting to receive him. Youths and sisters from South west area, colourfully dressed were also present.
The following day, Friday 8th December, 2017, by 11:00am he conducted a festive divine service at Nto Obo, Abak in South west area cared for by Apostle Enobong Udoh. All Apostles, Bishops, District Ministers and their spouses from the three surrounding apostle areas were invited.
The District Apostle, who insisted that our priority should always be the salvation of our soul, drew text-word from John 6:68-69 “... Lord to whom shall we go …”
Apostles Effiong Ekpenyong and Samuel Usoro were called to serve along. Two District Elders and six District Evangelists were ordained for south central and south west areas. 3002 members and guest attended the divine service. The first time a District Apostle is conducting a divine service here.
Meanwhile, District Apostle will round off his visit with a festive divine service on Sunday 10th December, 2017 at Ikeja Central Church, Lagos by 10:00am. This service will be transmitted live to the whole country. Already all Nigerian Apostles, Bishop and their Spouses are in Lagos for this great event. His visits coincides with the period of advent.
