The last two days of Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu’s visit to South Central Area of Nigeria took him to Okom, Ikot Udom and Mbak congregations.
Lead Apostle in company of the host, Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong, Bishop Udombang and District Elder Armstrong Inyang, arrived at Okom, Ndikpo Atang/Onna District by 2:00 pm after meeting with District Rectors at four towns, Uyo.
He admonished those present with the word from 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promises as some count slackness, but his long-suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance”.
39 members participated in the service, one Shepherd was ordained.
The last leg of the visit took the Guest to Ikot Udom and Mbak Districts on Sunday 23rd of July, 2017. At Ikot Udom 102 were in attendance, two Shepherds, two community Evangelists and one Deacon were ordained. Text word was taken from Zephaniah 3:12, 16 “I will leave in your midst a meek and humble people ... in that day, it shall be said to Jerusalem do not fear”.
The Lead Apostle reminded all that God deals graciously with the humble and therefore urged all not to fear as our God is omnipotent.
Finally by 1:30pm the entourage arrived Mbak, where 116 members and guests were waiting. The Lead Apostle was happily received, he served with the word from Deuteronomy 33:27 “The eternal God is our refuge…”
He charged all, to continuously trust in the Lord our everlasting refuge whose loving kindness endures forever.
It was indeed a blessing to the area.
