One Divine Service: 15 Sealed, 13 Ordinations, 1 Retirement
“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” - used to be the order of the day but thanks be to God as the reapers are increasing daily.
On 21st July, 2017 at Ikot Okon Ikot Ekpenyong in Apostle Samuel Usoro’s working area of South East Nigeria, Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu sealed 15 souls in one divine service, ordained 13 ministers (4 Shepherds and 9 Community Evangelists), and retired one Shepherd who had served for 42years.
The Lead Apostle charged the newly ordained ministers to remain humble and faithful as they embark on preparing the bride of Christ. He assured them of a commensurate reward on the day of the Lord. He also expressed the appreciation of our District Apostle Michael Ehrich, himself and the host apostle to the retiree and his family for his labour of love and wished him well in his retirement.
Text word was taken from Revelation 3:21 “To him who overcomes; I will grant to sit with me on the throne, as I also overcame and sat with my father on his throne”.
Lead Apostle charged all to fight against sin and all ungodliness. Assisting him was the host Apostle. 126 were in attendance.
