On the occasion of the solemn dedication of the church, Apostle Ekpenyong, Bishop Udombang, community leaders and members of the state house of assembly, came to congratulate the church members in Ikot Ekong, for their effort to put up a befitting place of worship in the community.

February 5, 2017 was an exciting and memorable Sunday for the members of New Apostolic Church in Uyo ’s South Centre area of Nigeria when the long awaited Ikot Ekong church building in Odo/Ndon Ebom District was dedicated by Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong.
John 12:26 was used as text word.
 
“If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where i am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my father honour”
250 members attended the service. Apostle Ekpenyong was accompanied by Bishop Ime Udombang.  To the joy of the members and the community leaders, Rt Hon.  Elder Mark Esset, could not hold his joy as he decided to donate a generating set for the new church building lightning.  Members expressed their joy and happiness to God for the new building with songs and praises, three souls were sealed by the apostle during the dedication service.
