Now that we can catch a prayerful breath after the lead apostle’s joyful visit to mid East working area in Abia state, Nigeria, we would like to share with everyone some recent events that took place during this visit” Apostle Chima Ibekwe write”

From Thursday 26th to Monday 30th January 2017, Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu accompanied by the responsible apostle for the area (Chima Ibekwe) held meetings and divine services to the great joy of the members.

On Friday 29th, 32 district ministers in the working area had a meeting with the Lead Apostle at Mbutu Umuojima congregation in Asamator district.

On Saturday 28th, he conducted two divine services, one at Umuajoha congregation in IMO district and Owaza congregation in Owaza district.
Here, he read a text word from Hebrews 4:11and Romance 15: 5-7 respectively.

On Sunday the 29th, he conducted once again 2 divine services, one in Iheorji congregation in Umuaja district and another one in Itungwa congregation in Itungwa district.
He read a text word from Matthew 17:5 and Revelation 22:17.
In all the divine services, he was able to link the 2017 motto of the new apostolic church international “Glory be to God, Our Father” by asking the members to “Recognise the glory of God in His works, thank Him for His gifts, and proclaim His glory”.
He went on to say that,  these can be done through listening and putting in practice the words of Jesus, following the examples of Jesus in prayers and also showing love to our neighbours.

During this joyful visit, a total attendance of seven hundred and six members was served by the Lead Apostle.
13 souls were sealed, 4 Shepherds, 6 Community Evangelists and 3 Deacons ordained.
This brought a great joy to the members and ministers in the entire working area, as these ministers were needed to cover many congregations that have seen a reasonable expansion.
