Lead Apostle Nwogu, Apostle Hagher, District Elder Oehler and District Evangelist Kabanga

The Ikeja Central Church, which is also the Head Quarters of the New Apostolic Church Nigeria, witnessed a weekend full of activities between 5th and 7th August, 2016. All the Apostles and Bishops in Nigeria, as well as all the chief tutors in all Apostles working area including the chief tutors’ coordinator, District Elder Wolfgang Oehler from South Germany and young and talented musicians selected from the various districts in Nigeria were in attendance at the Central Church for Conferences, Seminars and Music Camp.
The events climaxed with a divine service conducted by the Lead Apostle Nwogu attended by all the Apostles and Bishops, chief tutors and the young musicians in camp. The Apostle read a text word from the gospel according to Luke 4: 16 which reads, “no one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, ... “ He explained that we are the light of the world and must show the light through our behaviour, character and attitude. The Lead Apostle used the opportunity to introduce the four newly ordained Apostles to the members in Lagos by inviting them to serve along at the altar. After the divine service, the Lead Apostle, the chief tutors and coordinator of seminars in Nigeria, District Elder Wolfgang Oehler paid a visit to the young musicians in camp where they were able to give their support and good-will message to the participants. District Elder Wolfgang Oehler also taught the young musicians on conducting a musical piece with a beautiful example which the participants will never forget while rendering their service as choirmasters.
