Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu paid a two day apostolic and pastoral care visit to East Central Area of Nigeria cared for by Apostle Ernest Onwukwe.
On arrival at the Owerri Central Church on Saturday the 22nd of January 2022, the Lead Apostle was joyfully received by the host, Apostle Onwukwe, Apostle Kenneth Ibekwe (rtd), District ministers and Area Choir.
First on his itinerary was a meeting with District ministers which consisted of spiritual and administrative parts.
In the evening Lead Apostle Nwogu conducted a festive Divine service at the same venue where three District ministers were placed into retirement and one district rector appointed.
On Sunday. 23rd, the Lead Apostle conducted two Divine Services at Umuguma and Amala Districts.
At Amala congregation in Amala District, the Lead Apostle used a text word from Revelation 3: 11 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”
In his admonition he said: For the coming of Christ shall be in a twinkle of an eye only those who are prepared shall meet Him and their joy will be eternally. He urged all to hold fast to their childhood in God and love for one another, knowing that Christ is the one who called us and we must remain faithful to His teaching. To do so, we must be prayerful, stay together in love and set our priorities right. With these, we shall have victory, he concluded.
Ten souls were sealed and a Priest was retired.
At Umuguma congregation in Umuguma District, the Lead Apostle read a word from Ephesians 5: 20 "Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,”
In his message, the Lead Apostle asked everyone to be faithful, humble and thankful to God in all situations of life. He went on to task all the brethren to remain faithful insisting that our elections as children of God is by grace and pleaded that we should patiently wait for His imminent return.
In this divine service a District Rector was appointed.
