On Sunday 20 February, 2022, the Lead Apostle took his missionary work to Ekpan 1 Congregation in Warri District and Sapele Congregation in Sapele District.

At Ekpan the Lead Apostle read a text word from Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?  It will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

In his message the Lead Apostle told the brethren that God has called you all to Himself for a purpose. He has called us to serve and praise Him alone. He also called us to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and the salvation brought to all mankind.

The Lead Apostle went on to say that, there was a time when man was hopeless, the good and faithful God vowed to restore hope and life to mankind. This He did by sending Jesus Christ to mankind to return man back to his Father. He made a new covenant with mankind. This covenant is faith in Christ and love for God and neighbour. He actually did this by pouring out in mankind's hearts the love of God (Rm 5:5). 

In this covenant, God gave mankind a new goal. The new goal is to be in eternal fellowship with God and Christ. Thus, all the Lord God is doing in the church is to restore mankind to the everlasting fellowship with God and Christ.

To enter into this Fellowship, we must believe and follow Jesus Christ to the end…

In this divine service, Apostle Odili and District Elder Cyril Emanerame were called to serve along.  The rector of Ughoton celebrated his 50th birthday in the presence of his wife and family.  The lead apostle together with the congregation wished him well and blessed him with very comforting words. 211 souls were in attendance.

Revelation 3:8 was used as the text word “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

God knows us and our works

In this service, the Lead Apostle said: Christ came to the earth and gave His life for the salvation of mankind and left for heaven where he is sitting by the right hand of God interceding and preparing a heavenly home for His own. We are not being prepared to face judgement but to escape the judgement and be with the Lord. 

Therefore, never accept any teachings outside that of Jesus Christ and the scripture. This is because God knows both our inside and outside us.

God knows our works, whether they are good or bad! God is rewarding everyone according to the work we did, good or bad! Thus, we can't hide from the Lord God almighty! Let's therefore be careful with what we say and do, for we will be responsible for our words and actions…
