Lead Apostle Nwogu introducing the newly ordained Apostle Armstrong to all the South Central district ministers

Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu paid a 3-day visit to South Central Area of Nigeria from Monday, 18th to Wednesday 20th July 2022.

Highlight of the visit was official introduction of the new Apostle following the retirement of Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong on 27th March 2022 at Accra, Ghana.

 
The Lead Apostle who was joyfully received on arrival at Four Towns, Uyo on Monday held a meeting with District Leaders and their delegates numbering 36.

He addressed them with a text from Romans 12:3-9 "For I say, through the grace given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think but to think soberly…" 

In his message to the district ministers, the lead Apostle said: God has distributed to each one a measure of faith, as all members do not have the same function, but being many yet one body. Use your different gifts and talents to function effectively by supporting one another, he insisted.

The Lead Apostle used the opportunity to officially introduce Apostle Emmanuel Armstrong Inyang as their new Apostle and thanked the retired Apostle Ekpenyong for his commitment, dedication and humility, wishing him a blessed retirement.

 
The following morning 19th, Lead Apostle arrived Odobo in Nung Atai District to a warm reception where 146 souls had gathered.

He addressed them with a word from Psalm 107:1 “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercies endures forever”.

In this divine service he urged all to always give thanks and praises to God knowing that His mercies, love and grace are unquantifiable. He reminded all of our election, call and the gift of Jesus as some of the reasons we should always be grateful and thankful.

In the afternoon the Lead Apostle and his entourage arrived Ikot Ebre in Ikot Akpa District.

The brethren numbering 108 were exhorted with a text from 1 Chronicles 22:13b “Be strong and of good courage; do not fear not be dismayed” Two Priests were ordained and in this divine service.

 
The last leg of the visit took him to Ikot Ebita congregation in Odot/Ndon Ebom District on Wednesday 20th in the morning, as well as to Ikot Akpanabia in Ikot Obio Nko District in the afternoon.
