In the early hours of Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu made his first Apostolic Visitation for the year 2023 to the South East region. Together with the Area Apostle, the Lead Apostle had a meeting with the district rectors and their deputies at the Area headquarters.

For the meeting, the Ministers were admonished with the word from 1Timothy 4:14-16 “do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership…”

In his message, the Lead Apostle told the ministers not to let the gift given to them lie unused; they are to apply it diligently and faithfully to the purpose for which it was imparted to them…

In the afternoon, he held a divine service at Asanting Utit Ikpe.

Using Psalms 93:5 “Your testimonies are very sure; Holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever.“ as the biblical text, the Lead Apostle reminded congregants that in the place where we seek to prepare for that holy world the sanctuary of God, nothing should be allowed to enter that is impure and polluting; nothing that tends to corrupt or defile the soul.

He drew everyone's attention to the promises made by God to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and even Jesus which have come true. 

In this divine service, 10 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit and one brother received the ordination of deacon.  200 members and guests attended this divine service.
