The Lead Apostle at the Altar during the divine service
15 December 2023

Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu visited Jos District, North Nigeria on December 8 to 10, 2023.
He was accompanied by the host, Apostle Jediel Gwani.

On his agenda for this visit, the lead Apostle had a meeting with all the ministers in Jos district, a visitation and a festive divine service.

For the festive divine service on Sunday the 10th of December in Jos Central Congregation where he sealed 14 souls, the lead Apostle took a Bible text from Mark 13: 34” For the son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

In his message, he said: Jesus Christ the Son of God is coming back to take his people to himself and therefore we must look inwards, because we must be like our master Jesus Christ at his appearing. The coming of Christ will be a sudden event and there will be confusion on Earth. Those who are ready will follow Christ while others will be left behind.

The Lead Apostle went on and told all present to get prepared, as each person is responsible for his own salvation.

He added that, we serve Christ today by doing good as the Bible said: “Do good to all men, especially those of the household of faith." We want to be like Christ who blessed those who cursed him. We are the door keepers to the house of God, by working for the peace of the congregation, so that people can come in. Let us therefore be vigilant always.

Apostle Jediel and District Evangelist Akpan were called to contribute to the sermon.
