The Lead Apostle being received at Isi-Npkorobe congregation by the Sunday School team

On Saturday 24th February 2024, Lead Apostle Nwogu Arrived at Ezendioma congregation in Ezendioma District and was accompanied by the host, Apostle Chima Ibekwe. He received a warm welcome from the District Rectors and their Deputies. He also had a series of meetings with the Apostle and District Ministers from the entire working Area.

Immediately after the meeting, he conducted a divine service in the same venue reading a text word from 1 John 4:11 “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.”

In his message the lead Apostle said: We are in anticipation for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, He will surely come at an unknown time like He promised. God has elected us today to accept this time of grace, he explained that the love of God is revealed to all His creations. God is love and He loves His creations whether black or white. He sent His Son to us, and Christ died to give us everlasting life, peace and joy.

He therefore called on the Congregation to love one another and show God’s love to us by keeping His commandments. In his words "God is the potter, and we are the clay," 

Lead Apostle Nwogu further urged the members to go and settle any differences which they have with one another because Christ is coming soon. Apostle Chima Ibekwe served along.

On Sunday 25th, the Lead Apostle conducted a festive divine service at Isi-Nkporobe congregation in Ohuru District.

He drew a bible Text from 2 Chronicles 30:18 19-20 “For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the Passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying....”

Message:  Interceding for others

Being a Preparation for the divine service for the departed, the Lead Apostle had to emphasized more on the need for us to value our priesthood in this present time, the way we should intercede for our neighbor and the intercession for the departed.

In summary he said: Having been called to be part of the royal priesthood, we serve God and proclaim the gospel. We pray for the salvation of others. Our intercession expresses our faith, our love and our hope.   

Lead Apostle Nwogu further called on members to humble themselves before the Almighty God. He added that our Lord is coming to take those that have prepared themselves and waited patiently for His return. He urged us to intercede also for our Neighbors who are in pain especially those who have not come to the knowledge of the truth and those in the realms.

Apostle Chima Ibekwe and District Elder Ikechukwu Sunday were called to serve along. 8 souls were sealed and 2 brothers were ordained Priest.
