What a joyful weekend in New Apostolic church South East Nigeria, Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu two day visits to the Area cared for by   Apostle Samuel Usoro brought so much joy to the brethren.

On Saturday 9th March 2024 the Lead Apostle arrived Ikot Abia Idem congregation in Ikot Ekpene in the company of Apostle Samuel Usoro, and they were received by the District Rectors and their Deputies who were around for the annual meeting with the Lead Apostle.

For the meeting, the Lead Apostle exhorted the district ministers with a text word from 1 Samuel 3:10. "Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

Immediately after the meeting he conducted a divine service at Ekpenyong Ikot Udo Inyang congregation in Adiasim District.  After reading a text word from 1 Kings 19:14-15 "And he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts… Then the Lord said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria."

Apostle Samuel Usoro served along, 20 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit and 124 were in Attendance. The climax of the visit was on Sunday 10th March, the Lead Apostle conducted a Festive Divine service at the Area headquarters in Ikot Abia Idem congregation, Ikot Ekpene.

He was received by the Host Apostle, the District Rectors and their deputies along with the central church Ikot Ekpene junior choir.  The joy was full, there was so much excitement in the faces of the brothers and sisters.

For this festive divine service, the Lead Apostle took a text word from Luke 18:13 "And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner! "

In his message the Lead Apostle said: God resisted the proud but gives grace to the humble, he told all present that pride always go before a fall and that God is a merciful father and doesn’t want anyone to perish…

Apostle Samuel Usoro was called to serve along, 10 Souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit, 1 Priest from Asanting District was placed into Retirement. 323 brethren attended this divine service.
