Expectations were very high, as brethren awaited the first visit of the year by Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu to South Central Area of Nigeria cared for by Apostle Armstrong Inyang.

These expectations became   a reality as the Lead Apostle arrived Four Towns, Uyo on Tuesday, 5th March 2024 to a rousing reception by District Rectors and Deputies from the 20 Districts of the Area. Lead Apostle Nwogu expressed great joy to be back in the Area and heartily thanked them   for their services and labour of love.

For the spiritual part, he addressed them with a word from Ephesians 6:14-18 ”Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness... praying always..." In his remarks, he reminded the District Leaders that election and call into the ministry is from God, but faithfulness is our responsibility. He further informed them that ministry is not a human work but a gift of God to the church.  He insisted that our belief is a source of motivation and strength, so that we can be a vessel of blessing.  He charged them to put on the whole arm our of God and encouraged them to gird themselves with truth, righteousness, peace and patience by taking the helmet of salvation and the word of God. 

Giving thanks
Same day, the Lead Apostle and his entourage arrived Atan Offot congregation to a joyful reception by the Children's Choir and ministers. He exhorted them with a text from Ephesians 5: 20   "Giving thanks always for all things to God the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" Lead Apostle Nwogu said, regardless of what we go through, there is a proven source of strength; which is prayer: this encourages us give thanks in all circumstances of life.  'Let us be confident that our prayers are heard and will definitely have an effect' he insisted. He concluded, 'Let us therefore be thankful for the gift of salvation, grace, apostolate and our earnest expectation of the return of Christ for everlasting fellowship'. The host, Apostle Armstrong Inyang and Bishop Ime Udombang served along with 117 souls in attendance. 

God reveals His glory
On Wednesday 6th, Lead Apostle and his entourage arrived Ikot Enua congregation, the home congregation of the host Apostle to a warm reception. Lead Apostle, who was so excited to be there read a word from Mark 9: 2 'Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James and John, and lead them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them' Talking about the transfiguration of Jesus before the three Apostles, Moses and Elijah; Lead Apostle Nwogu said, God reveals His glory to those who trust, love, believe and follow Him. God reveals Himself in word, sacraments, promises   and the apostolate. He concluded that we are called and elected to enter into His eternal glory. Lead Apostle Nwogu, whose   entourage included Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong (rtd) and spouse stopover at the residence of Apostle Inyang for family visit. He shared pleasantries with the family, including Apostle Inyang's aged mother, after praying with them.

Hold fast what you have
By 2pm the entourage were received at Ikot Inyang Ikot Udofia congregation to a befitting welcome. The anxious congregation numbering 162 was addressed with a text word from Revelation 3: 11 ”Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown" In his homily, the Lead Apostle charged all to be watchful, vigilant and prayerful. Hold fast your inheritance in God, your sonship and election, he urged all. Concluding he sued for invigorating prayer life, reminding all of the effects of prayer: Making us grateful, compassionate, strong, sanctified, and united. Apostle Armstrong Inyang assisted at the altar, ten souls were sealed.
