It was a great joy for the brethren at Ibibi Uratta congregation in Owerrinta District Mid- East as Apostle Chima Ibekwe conducted a festive divine service in which a priest and his fiancée received their marriage blessing from the hand of the area Apostle. 

The Apostle took a Bible text from 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brakes it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me”

In his message, the Apostle said:  In the celebration of Holy Communion, we are united with Christ and prepare ourselves for His return

In his elaboration, the Apostle said: Jesus fulfilled His mission willingly and out of love for humankind.

He told the brethren that, we have fellowship with Him and with one another in Holy Communion and concluded by asking all present to always aspire to participate in the Holy Communion as this is the way we will be preparing ourselves for the return of Jesus.

In his message to the couple of the day, he explained that marriage is an important institution ordained by God and in this institution, wisdom, love, submission and tolerance are required. He further called on the bride and the groom to be fervent in prayers, tolerant, submissive, and loving each other as Christ loves His Church.
