The leader of the New Apostolic church in Nigeria, Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu paid a two days’ pastoral care visits to South East working Area cared by Apostle Samuel Usoro.

He arrived in the Area on Monday 10th June,2024 and on Tuesday 11th June, He visited Ekong/ Akpabruyo District in Cross Rivers state after traveling for 5 hours.

On his arrival, he and Apostle Usoro were received by the District ministers. 

For the divine service in Cross River, the Lead Apostle took his bible text from the book of Revelation 13:11” Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon”

In his message, the Lead Apostle told all those present to “hold fast to what they have”.

7 Souls received the gifts of the Holy spirit and the Lead Apostle laid a foundation for a building in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of New Apostolic church in Nigeria.

139 persons were in attendance.

Wednesday 12th June was the climax of the Lead Apostle pastoral visit in South East Apostle Area as he visited the Nung Ukim District Headquarters for a festive divine’s service where all district ministers in the area were in attendance. 

For the festive divine service, the Lead Apostle read a bible text from the book of 1 Kings 17:16 “The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.”, also a Bible reading in 1King 17:10-16 was read in this service

In his message, the Lead Apostle said: - God blesses those who trust in Him.

He went on to say that, God blesses His own and His blessing is eternal life.

He admonished all present to give up everything that could prevent them to attain eternal life.

In his conclusion, he said God wants to do good to others through us.

297 persons took part in this divine service, 2 brothers were ordained into the Deacon ministry and it was a joyous congregation.
