It was a feast of love, mercy and compassion as Four Towns District in South Central Area of Nigeria joins the entire New Apostolic communities around the world to celebrate festive Divine service for the departed On Sunday, 7th July 2024 at the Area Central Church, Four Towns, Uyo.
The service officiated by the Area Apostle, Armstrong Inyang, had 357 souls in attendance.
Text word was drawn from Romans 10: 13 “For whol ever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
In his homily, Apostle Inyang said those who turn to Jesus will find salvation, insisting that God's will to save knows no limits.
All humans, living and dead, are given the opportunity to repent and grasp salvation in Christ.
He went on to say that, repentance, and salvation can only be obtained through faith in Jesus Christ.
More so, faith means acknowledging the perfection and mercy of God and trusting in him without conditions.
Citing Exodus 15: 13 " You in your mercy have led forth the people whom you have redeemed; You have guided them in Your Strength to Your holy habitation, Apostle Inyang said just as God shown mercy and redeemed the Israelites through their Leader, Moses; redemption and salvation for both the living and the dead depend on the sacraments, which they can receive through the apostolate.
The Apostle further said our intercession is helpful, but all souls must call on the Lord to receive salvation.
This requires our belief in His existence, His love, care, and trust in His perfection.
In conclusion, he calls on all to accept and follow God's will in all circumstances of life and wait patiently for fulfilment of His promises.
