Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.1Timothy 4:12.

It was against the backdrop of the above bible verse that Apostle Oscar Nwanza invited the young brothers and sisters from the eight (8) districts of the West 1 part of the Apostle Area for seminar on youth care.

The young brothers and sisters who are basically youth leaders of the various congregations and districts arrived on Friday 19th July, 2024 with the Seminar commencing at 8pm with the various groups coming out to present their allotted topics through role plays and interactive sessions.

The seminar continued on Saturday, 20th July, 2024 first with a brief but entertaining aerobic exercise facilitated by Apostle Oscar Nwanza after which the business of the day commenced. Some of the topics covered included; the situation of the youth/youth groups, the youth leader, Word café etc.

The young people also seized the opportunity by rehearsing at each break the local anthems and songs selected for the 50th anniversary celebration which will take place in October.

The seminar had in attendance 153 youths, the National head of seminars shepherd Charles Uruah, Various District Rectors and their Deputies, Chief Tutors and District Tutors.

Foods ranging from rice, snacks and local delicacies were also provided to the delight of all participants.

The youths departed to their various districts at 2.30 p.m on Saturday 20th July, 2024 with expression of Joy with hope of reuniting in October for the 50th Anniversary celebration.
