On Sunday 28th July, 2024, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider conducted a festive Divine Service in Memmingen in Southern Germany. The Divine Service was transmitted across Europe and West Africa.  During the Service, the Chief Apostle served the brethren with a text word from Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. He admonished the brethren to bear each other’s burden.

According to the International leader of the global church, these burdens can include Sin, Injustice, Laws of men, unwillingness to serve in the congregation etc which inhibits Children of God from doing His will. The Chief Apostle also urged that rather than make these burdens heavier through being judgmental and showing off our material possessions on Social Media to oppress our neighbor, we help in alleviating their sufferings by being sensitive to their plights and needs.
District Apostle Kububa Soko from Zambia and Apostle Matthias Pfützner from Austria were called to assist in the Divine service. Thousands of brothers and sisters were able to connect from Nigeria.

In this service, the Chief Apostle bid farewell to Apostle Hans-Jürgen Bauer as he retired. He served for more than 40 years as a minister, 16 of which as an apostle. Apostle Bauer was responsible for the Ulm Apostle area as well as numerous countries in West and East Africa. In his address before the retirement, the Chief Apostle thanked the apostle for his work: "You gave the Lord your whole heart and served with all your heart. And that was evident."
Also Apostle Hans-Jürgen Bauer was placed into retirement after having served as a minister for 40 years, 16 as an Apostle.  The Chief Apostle thanked him for his faithful services to God and His children and wished him a blessed retirement. Bishop Volker Keck was ordained an Apostle to succeed him.
