Christmas is a Christian holiday during which Christians commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. Although nobody expects that a new baby Jesus be born again the second time, it is a period in which the expectation for the second coming is reawakened. For this Christmas, many programs ranging from musical concerts and festive Divine Services have been lined up.
Our various congregations have been decorated with the Christmas colors and Christmas trees. The most special moment for the 2024 Christmas is that, all Apostles and Bishops active and retired were able to have an evening time with District Apostle Michael Ehrich who during his visit from Tuesday 17th to Thursday 19th of December conducted a divine service where Lead Apostle Nwogu was retired and New Lead Apostle was assigned.
Before the Divine Service on Wednesday, the District Apostle had a meeting with the Apostles and Bishops and after the meeting, a couple of pictures to commemorate Christmas were taken to the joy of all.
After the service, in the spirit of Christmas, all the Apostles and Bishops present, were able to spend a good time with the District Apostle and his wife in a typical Nigerian Christmas way.
