A joyful servant after his retirement

District Apostle Michael Ehrich visited Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.  All the Apostles and Bishops active and retired from Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon were invited for the divine service on Wednesday 18th December, 2024.
At the divine service, Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu was retired.  Shepherd Emmanuel Adeyemi was ordained into the Apostle ministry to take over the West working area care for by Apostle Oscar Nwanza who was given the responsibility of Lead Apostle.

Out of his 47 years ministerial work, Lead Apostle Geoffrey Nwogu served as an Apostle for 19 years, in which 12 years as the Lead Apostle.

In this divine service at the Abuja Central church the now retired Lead Apostle was given chance to bid farewell to all the members in the country.

Lead Apostle Nwogu was baptized and sealed in 1976 by Apostle Rudolph Schilling in Jos congregation, plateau State, Nigeria.
As a very young believer, who became later A medical doctor, a devoted, faithful and enthusiastic servant of God, Lead Apostle Nwogu was called into the ministry in 1977 and served in the Lord’s vineyard for many years in faithfulness to God, in the unity with the Apostolate and in love for the brothers and sisters in the country.

  • District Elder: 30/07/1995 by District Apostle Klaus,Saur
  • Bishop:  01/05/ 1999 by Chief Apostle Richard Fehr
  • Apostle: 03/12/2005 by Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber

In 2012, he was assigned the Lead Apostle responsibility in Abuja by District Apostle Michael Ehrich.
