The four Apostles with the four young sisters after their confirmation
23 May 2025

On Thursday 1st of May 2025, Lead Apostle Nwanza returned to Akwa Ibom State for his second missionary journey. Unlike his first journey where he served only the brethren in South Central Apostle Inyang’s area and made a special visit to CRARN on a special assignment by the District Apostle, this time around, the Lead Apostle made his visit to the South East and South West Apostle areas.

On his arrival, the Lead Apostle who was received by Apostles Usoro and Inyang had a brief stop at the Uyo central church where he had a little fellowship and prayer with the two Apostles.

On Friday 2nd , the Lead Apostle conducted a District minister’s meeting in the morning and immediately after the meeting, the Lead apostle visited the homes of the retired Bishop Monday Inyang Eddy, the widow of late Apostle Ndarake Jonah Ekanem , retired District elder Emmanuel Essien  and Apostle Samuel P Usoro.

Later in the night, he attended a very special concert where the mass choir and children’s choir raised the Lead Apostle spirit with some African spiritual hymns.

On Saturday 3rd, the Lead Apostle traveled to Nto Obo, Abak South West Working area of Apostle Udoh. Here the lead Apostle conducted the District ministers meeting and visited Apostle Udoh’s home.

On Sunday 4th, the Lead Apostle conducted two Divine services, one at 10 a.m in Ikot Abia Idem in IKot Ekpene Apostle Usoro’s Area and in the afternoon at Nto Obo , Abak in South West Apostle Udoh’s area

At Ikot Abia Idem, the Lead Apostle used a text word from Matthew 13:33 and asked the brethren to promote the growth of the Kingdom of God in behavior and characters.  He pleaded with all the brethren to emulate the simplicity of Christ and His church. In this service four young sisters were confirmed… and the service was attended by 818 persons.

At Nto Obo, the lead apostle used a text word from “1 Timothy 1:15This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.”

In his message the Lead Apostle said: Christ calls us to profess His gospel, he went to explain that: Today we are living in the post-Easter period, during which we are asked to remember the Risen One. It was through his appearances to his disciples that they were able to decide their relationship with God.

Mary, upon seeing the Risen One, did not know it was him; she needed only to hear the Word to recognize the Lord as she stood before the empty tomb. She who wept, the Word of the Risen One transformed her sadness into joy.

Let us also think of Peter, who, before Easter, was a man who feared death because he had to deny his Master three times, fearing for his life. It was only afterward that he realized this and wept bitterly. After the resurrection, it was the same Peter who courageously answered the high priests' question about the prohibition on spreading the gospel, replying: "We must obey God rather than men" (Acts 4:19-20). There, they professed their faith, no longer fearing death.

Saul's Transformation: In today's sermon, Paul is not ashamed to say that he is the chief of sinners; the Lord appeared to him and transformed him.
This was made possible by his encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. It was not just a change of name, but of heart, for Paul himself says: "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation...whoever believes in him will not be ashamed" (Romans 10:10-11). This is the resolution of the one who found pleasure and satisfaction in making Christians suffer, including the stoning of Stephen and others. We too must undergo a transformation, and a true one; quoting the transformation of the snake and the caterpillar…

On Election: God, through his love and grace, wants to save everyone. (John 3:16) But on one condition and one condition only: that of being elected, an election not based on privileges or abilities or gifts, but rather based on a vocation to serve the communion. Here too, one must put away the old and accept the new (a conversion). Here, we can quote Zacchaeus, the Samaritan woman, and others.

Conversion and Profession of Faith: We must know ourselves well. Example: Saul recognized himself as a sinner to whom salvation had been granted by Jesus Christ and wanted to make this salvation accessible to other sinners like you and me. (1 Timothy 1:16)

Salvation in Christ: God Himself became man in Jesus Christ. He truly becomes the master and model, so it is up to us to follow Him, otherwise we will not have the salvation we all seek. None of us can say that we do not feel God's love and patience. Every day we have His grace and His help, and it is from this that we draw all our strength.

The Lead Apostle was accompanied by the three Apostles in Akwa Ibom State, namely Apostles Usoro, Udoh and Inyang in the two divine services. 356 brethren attended the service at Nto Obo central church.
