Presentation of Seminar Topic by Island District representatives at Ikeja Central Church, Lagos

On Saturday 28th June, 2025, Apostle Adeyemi Emmanuel of West Nigeria invited ministers to Ikeja Central Church for Basic 3 seminar for ministers. The ministers who mostly were young and newly ordained were drawn from the various districts of West 1 together with their district rectors. Earlier on Friday 27th June, 2025, ministers in the Akure, Ondo and Ekiti axis were also gathered at the stadium congregation in AKURE district due to distance and convenience.

Back here in Ikeja, the seminar started at about 10:00am with a hymn and opening prayer. Participants were given topics ranging from the Creation story, fall from grace, the flood etc. These topics were beautifully presented with beautiful role plays. Basic 3 seminar is part of the New Apostolic Church’s Basic seminar series. Basic 3 highlights God's plan of salvation for mankind.

The highlight of the event was the surprise visit of  the Lead Apostle Oscar Nwanza who also express joy that he can meet such a large crowd of ministers after having seen some of them for a while since his assumptions of Lead Apostle role. In his address, the Lead Apostle urged the enthusiastic ministers to always be obedient even when it is beyond their understanding. He also siezed the opportunity to rehearse a song dedicated to Apostle Martin Rheinberger who is to be appointed a District Apostle Helper on Sunday 29th June, 2025 in Divine Service by the Chief Apostle.

On his part, Apostle Adeyemi said it became necessary to bring ministers together for the seminar to enable for dynamism, opportunity for bonding as well as interpersonal relationship. In attendance were the National Head of Seminar(NHS) Shep. Charles Urua, Lead chief Tutors, District Rectors as well as local tutors. Participants were also treated to a delicious meal. At the end of it all, participants could be seen revived, refreshed and ready to go back to their congregations in preparation for the live transmission service with the Chief Apostle on Sunday29th June, 2025.
