A trip to three districts in Ekiti over the weekend from Thursday June 19 to Monday June 23, 2025 was worth-the-whole.

This started with a Divine Service by Apostle Adeyemi Emmanuel in Ado Central Church in Ado District on Friday evening, well attended with textword from James 1: 23-24 “For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.” - "Word and action" Self-reflection of our attitude shows that we internalize His word and put in practice. Brethren were encouraged to be doers of the word of God, just like the seed that fell on a fertile land and bears fruit in multiple folds.

On Saturday was ministers and wives meeting and interactive session at Ayede Congregation in Oye District. Apostle Adeyemi addressed the brethren with the textword from John 5: 39 “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.” - The testimony of the Scriptures. The Apostle implored the brethren to study the Holy Scriptures intensively because they show us the way to salvation. The Holy Scripture is the foundation of our faith. The interpretation of the biblical writings that is authoritative to our faith is entrusted to the Apostles, who are guided by the Holy Spirit.

Followed by Divine Service with text word from Matt 7: 21 - “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” To be saved, a minister must fulfill their mission according to Christ’s will (our view of ministry, our relationship with money, negatively focus on earthly things, hypocrisy and judgement). 16 souls were sealed. Pastoral care visit was made to three other congregations in the district.

On Sunday was Divine Service at Bolorunduro, Ikole District, accompanied by RTD Bishop Adelabu, District Elder Ozemoje, District Evangelist Osalusi, Oni Emmanuel and Oni Solomon, the District Rectors of Ota, Ado, Oye & Ikole districts respectively. Text word was taken from 1 Timothy 3: 14,15 - “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” - "The church is the pillar of truth". God remains the source of truth, the mission of the early and today's church as well as we, who comprise the church defend the truth of the gospel. 10 souls were sealed and a brother ordained as Deacon. All glory be to God for the work of faith.
