On Sunday, 17th August 2025 during the Youth Fellowship at Bera District, South-South Working Area, Apostle Felix Kpegasin conducted a divine service at Lewe 2 congregation and text word was taken from Numbers 14:8 “If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’”
Keynotes from the Sermon
1. The Example of Abraham and Sarah: God promised Abraham a son through Sarah, yet impatience led to the birth of Ishmael through the slave woman. This showed how lack of patience can bring unnecessary challenges, though God’s promise still stands sure.
2. The Children of Israel: When the twelve spies were sent to Canaan, ten returned with fear and doubt. Joshua and Caleb, however, trusted in God’s promise and were the only ones permitted to enter the promised land. This teaches that unbelief and fear can delay or deny fulfillment of God’s promise.
3. The Danger of Not Waiting on the Lord: Many miss God’s blessings because they rush ahead of His timing. Impatience can lead to wrong decisions, compromise, or walking outside God’s will. Waiting on the Lord builds trust, maturity, and faith, while impatience brings regret and delay. True hope in God means resting on His word until He fulfils it in His own perfect time.
A priest and a Deacon were ordained by the Apostle. 22 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit. An important event was the dedication of Bera District Youth Fellowship uniform. A total of 337 worshippers were in attendance.
