Divine Service conducted by Apostle Ibekwe Chima O. On 23rd, November 2025 to Conclude the 3-Day Area Women fellowship convention At Amuzu Ohanze congregation in Obingwa District Mid-East Apostle Working Area Aba Nigeria. Reading a Text from the book of Habakkuk 3:2 “Oh Lord, revive your work”.
Apostle Ibekwe Chima O. opened the Divine Service by giving heartfelt thanks to God for bringing His people together once again, especially for the purpose of revival at the conclusion of the Women Fellowship Convention. Emphasizing On The Following Key Points:
‘A call for revival in the church’
The Apostle explained that Habakkuk’s prayer is a plea for God to revive His work in the Church and in the world, especially amidst the difficult situations that God’s children face today. He encouraged the congregation to be grateful for how God used the Sisters during the convention, affirming that revival begins with those who avail themselves to God.
‘God requires our participation’
Revival is not passive. It is a call to wake up and do the work of God, referencing 2 Chronicles 7:14, he reminded the Church that humility, repentance, and seeking God’s face are fundamental conditions for divine revival.
‘Obedience and surrender to God’s will’
Citing Isaiah 6:8, the Apostle urged believers to respond willingly to God’s call and surrender fully to His divine purpose.
‘Servanthood and Humility’
Using Matthew 20:26–28, he taught that those who desire to be instruments of God’s revival must adopt the spirit of servanthood and humility, just as Christ exemplified.
‘Devotion in Proclaiming the Gospel’
Apostle Ibekwe stressed that God uses those who are devoted to proclaiming His word, referencing Romans 10:14–15, which highlights the necessity of faithful messengers for God’s work to reach the people.
‘Encouragement Concerning Women in Ministry’
Addressing the current position of the New Apostolic Church on “Women in Ministry.” He encouraged the sisters to embrace and support this important development, assuring them that they have a vital role in God’s ongoing work of revival.
Called to serve along: District Rector Chigbu Japhet, District Rector Nse Monday, District Rector Ikechukwu Sunday, 423 members including guests were in attendance.
The service was a wonderful and glorious moment in the house of the Lord, filled with spiritual nourishment, encouragement, and a renewed call for every believer to be an active part of God’s revival work.
