5 December 2025

It was a moment of joy for Ondo district as Apostle Adeyemi Emmanuel served in three congregations during his timely visit over the weekend. On Saturday, 22nd November, 2025 was a visit to Ode-Aye for a divine service as the members waited patiently after a 5-hour drive from Ibadan.

Text word taken from Mark 2: 22 - "Put the new wine in a new wineskin." The Lord used the image of new wine to show that His gospel made the religious practices of the Pharisees obsolete, in this case, those concerning fasting. For Jews bound to their traditions, Jesus’ teaching was a true spiritual revolution. Christ’s teaching is not only new, it is universal and eternally valid. To have eternal life, one must be reborn out of water and the Spirit, follow His Apostles, and receive Holy Communion. Neither return to the yoke of slavery, nor yoke of old covenant, nor yoke of old Adam. Our unity is based on our common desire to become like Christ. A meeting with all ministers in Fagbo was touching and absolutely necessary, and a divine service later in the evening.

Text word from Psalms 62: 7-8. "Sharing our hope in God" The psalmist experienced difficult situation, recounts his own experiences with God. He has been through a lot, both good and bad, and God has helped him. He is aware of this and proclaims it in the psalms: God is my salvation, the rock of my strength, my refuge! We may feel a need to show our fellow human beings the way to God. The best way to do this is by doing God’s will ourselves as such we share our experience with God with others. Shepherd Idowu and Priest Tubosun from Akure close to us were in attendance.

On Sunday 23rd November, 2025 was divine service at Opeoluwa congregation, Ondo District. The District Rector and his delegate, District Elder David Omotoso and Community Evangelist Ebenezer Omotoso respectively who accompanied me in all the visit, showed a beautifully transformed and lively congregation of faithful brethren. Text word taken from Revelation 21: 3–4 - The new creation means eternal salvation. God’s ultimate “Behold, I make all things new” (Revelation 21: 5) means salvation, wholeness, and acceptance for each and everyone. Once the kingdom of God is revealed in its fullness, the new creation will be completed in eternal communion with God. The new creation is attained through rebirth out of water and the Holy Spirit, and the word of God. It was really a nice experience and pray for God to help in reviving inactive congregation(s) and to bring to fulfilment the great desires for the district in returning souls who no longer attend the divine services. One soul received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
