Wednesday, 14th January 2026, was a glorious and memorable day as our dearly beloved District Apostle, Michael Ehrich led his Helper and all Apostles, active and retired with their Spouses in Nigeria to a festive Divine service at Ikot Abia Idem, Ikot Ekpene in South East Area of Nigeria cared for by Apostle Samuel Usoro.
Also in attendance were Apostles from Central African countries “CEMAC” (Gabon, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea)
The District Apostle and his entourage arrived the congregation to a joyful and thunderous reception by the Children's Choir and all Apostles and Bishops active and retired.
The District Apostle joyfully welcomed all to the warm fellowship and expressed his warm appreciation for great attendance and enthusiasm.
He exhorted the congregants with a text word from Isaiah 41: 10 "Fear not, for I am with you: be not dismay, for I am your God, I will uphold you with my right hand of righteousness”
In his homily, District Apostle Michael Ehrich enjoined all to always trust and look up to God through the apostolate irrespective of what we are going through.
"Do not fear despite political, economic, and psychological problems engulfing the whole world, just believe," He insisted.
He went down on memory lane what the Israelites went through in Babylon and how God kept His promise and brought them out of captivity.
His message was very timely, encouraging, and assuring.
Called to assist was District Apostle Helper Martins Rheinberger.
This festive divine service served as a farewell service by our District Apostle and an introductory service for the soon coming District Apostle.
Several acts were carried out (retirement, appointments, and assignments across the nine working areas in Nigeria.
A total of 2522 were in attendance.
Thereafter, the District Apostle and his entourage left Ikot Ekpene to attend the choral musical concert in Uyo, South Central Area, cared for by Apostle Armstrong Inyang.
