The 2026 train Senior Tutors Seminar, held in Benin City, southern Nigeria, was marked by a threefold effort of sacrifice, solidarity, and brotherliness.
It was displayed by the host, Shepherd David Ugolor, the rector of the GRA congregation in Benin, in the presence of the Lead apostle, Oscar Nwanza, the host apostle, Goddey Odili, the general coordinator of seminars, GCS West Africa, Apostle Felix Kpegasin, Apostles Jediel (North), Adeyemi (West), Armstrong (South-Central), the national head of Seminar, Shepherd Urua Charles, and all the senior tutors from the nine Apostle areas in Nigeria.
Indeed, the attention of the New Apostolic faithful in Nigeria was focused on Benin City, the capital of Edo State, for this five days of activities.
It all began with a visit of the lead apostle, who undertook a three-day official tour of the apostle area to meet with the apostle and all the district ministers.
After concluding his visit with a divine service on Sunday the 25th, the lead apostle went to the home of the apostle and the two district rectors in Benin City.
On Wednesday morning, the train senior tutors’ seminar began with great enthusiasm: the rector of the GRA congregation mobilized the women to warmly welcome all the participants.
The seminar session began with an opening prayer led by the Lead apostle, who then offered a few words of encouragement to the assembly and reminded everyone that, as instructors, we must be true examples in speech and doctrine.
The senior tutors were briefed on the discussions from the African conference held in Accra, Ghana. Reactivation of congregations and addressing illiteracy within the Church were the major points in the Lead Apostle’s presentation.
After the Lead Apostle's introductions, the Tutors took over the teaching, as usual, in a consistently stimulating atmosphere.
Following the seminar, the Lead Apostle led the midweek Divine service, which was attended by members of the GRA congregation, Apostles Odili (host), Kpegasin, Adeyemi, Armstrong, Jediel, and all the Senior Tutors.
After the service, the GRA congregation's rector and members organized a wonderful get together that will be remembered for years to come. It was a true demonstration of sacrifice, unity, and fellowship.
