The Apostles being welcomed at the small Lagos congregation
8 June 2026

Lead Apostle Oscar Nwanza lives in Lagos, the economic capital of Nigeria.

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Apostle Geoffrey Jediel of the New Apostolic Church Northern Nigeria decided to take him to the small Lagos congregation in Keffi district, Nasarawa State.

The Lead Apostle was amazed by the beauty of the small village called Small Lagos and by the enthusiastic and faithfulness of the brothers and sisters. Before 128 members who came for the divine service, the Lead Apostle took a text word from (2 Corinthians 13:13). In his homily, he presented the Trinitarian blessing as an effective divine promise and a source of fullness. He encouraged the congregation to embody this grace, love, and fellowship every day in order to bear witness to their faith through exemplary Christian behavior.

Six souls were sealed in this Divine Service.

Additionally, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Lead Apostle, Apostle Jediel and Priest Dabas visited the home of a pioneer of the New Apostolic Church in northern Nigeria, retired Apostle Felix Omeh. The visit was very inspiring, as the retired apostle and his wife, Sister Rose, were able to open their hearts with beautiful faith experiences regarding the New Apostolic Church. The visit ended with a fraternal moment.
