The New Apostolic Church Nigeria is thrilled to announce the upcoming visit of District Apostle Martin Rheinberger, Church President of the New Apostolic Church Southern Germany, from August 20 to 23, 2026. This marks his maiden official visit to Nigeria since assuming leadership.

During his three-day itinerary in Lagos, District Apostle Rheinberger will lead several high-profile engagements, including:

Leadership summit:
A strategic meeting with the four Lead Apostles from West Africa 2 (Ghana), West Africa 1 (Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast) West Africa 3 (Nigeria, Gabon, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea) and West Africa 4 (Benin Republic and Togo).

Ministers divine service
A special Divine service for ministers and their wives.

Youth interactive session
An engaging forum where the youth would like to know their District Apostle.

Festive divine service
A landmark Divine service hosted at Kobina Island, Lagos.

A historic homecoming for Kobina Island
This visit holds deep historical significance for the congregation at Ilashe/Kobina Island, accessible via a 30-minute boat ride from the Lagos Mainland. The island last hosted a District Apostle 33 years ago in 1987, when the late District Apostle Klaus Saur ministered to the community. After more than three decades of faithful anticipation, the believers on Kobina Island are preparing with immense joy to welcome the Church President Of Southern Germany for this milestone homecoming.
